EV Charger Installation in Greater Rochester

Home EV charger installation cost is determined after an on-site assessment with upfront pricing from Kruger Electric because every home’s electrical setup is different. The largest factor is the work required to power a Level 2 charger safely and to electrical code. Our licensed electricians design a dedicated circuit and verify capacity before proposing the scope. We also install chargers for homeowners throughout the Rochester area.

What usually changes price:

• Panel capacity (space and amperage) and whether a subpanel or service upgrade is needed
• Distance and routing from panel to charger location (conduit runs, attic/basement access, finished walls)
• Attached vs detached garage or outdoor locations that may need trenching
• Local permitting and inspection requirements, plus smart-charger setup if requested

A quick site visit and load calculation will pin down the exact scope and price.
